Routine Wellness Exam
I’m happy to provide wellness exams for existing and new patients (please call for availability). This will include vaccines and bloodwork.
Veterinary Medical Manipulation
Spinal manipulation for horses can help reduce pain, improve joint mobility, and enhance overall performance by addressing musculoskeletal issues.
Lameness Examinations
Equine athletes frequently encounter lameness issues. I am well versed in equine lameness diagnosis and treatments. I carry portable radiograph and ultrasound to diagnose lameness on the farm and can perform therapies such as joint injections on the farm.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture helps support a horse’s natural healing process by reducing pain, improving circulation, and promoting overall musculoskeletal and neurologic health.
Dental Care
Routine dental care helps ensure proper chewing, better digestion, improved comfort under saddle, and can prevent more serious health issues before they develop.
Injury and Illness Care
I offer a wide range of services including injury, illness, and even end-of-life care.

Hey y’all, my name is Emily Barton-Glenn. I’m a local to McDowell county and I’ve been practicing for 6 years. I have my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from UGA, Bachelor of Science from Berry College, Certified Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapist, Animal Acupuncturist.
